PRIZEY Giveaway: "Howtoons" kids' DIY book

Prize: Howtoons book of DIY toys, science/tech projects, and other cool stuff for kids. Great for kids age 6-12 or so but also for parents looking for cool stuff to do with kids who are even younger. Ten winners. Reviewed on ZRecs. Retail value: $16.

The book's PR matter gives a good description:

Readers meet Tucker and Celine, a lovable brother and sister pair. Sick of watching TV and playing video games, Tucker and Celine decide to conquer every kid's nightmare: the dreaded summer o' boredom. Armed with countless ideas for fun projects, they set out to reclaim the sheer joy of playing. Fifteen practical, build-it-yourself projects are weaved into the Tucker and Celine storyline. With the narrators' help and clear step-by-step instructions, young readers will learn how to set up a workshop, create a marshmallow shooting gun, make ice cream without a freezer, play songs on a turkey baster flute, explore a homemade terrarium, launch a pressure - powered rocket, and more!

I'd love to make the snowglobe. I remember making one when I was little and it would be neat to do again with the kids.

My kiddos would love the Springloaded Chopsticks. They are getting pretty good with kid-friendly chopsticks, even the 2 year old!

I absolutely love Howtoons and the guys behind the Instructables website (among others).

Really cool stuff.

I like the trashbag raincoat. The project is fun, but how cool is it that they mimiced Frank Miller's Sin City style.

Priceless.
