The XO is a revolutionary laptop designed for children in the developing world. PRIZEY sister blog Z Recommends has contributed to the OLPC's Give One Get One campaign as part of its 2007 charitable giving initiative. ZRecs will receive the XO laptop, test and review it, and then give it away on PRIZEY. In addition, ZRecs will, if possible, be giving away the full year of free T-Mobile HotSpot access - a subscription which can be used with any and all laptops in the owner's possession.

PRIZEY will be accept daily entries for the XO Laptop giveaway from November 20 through January 4. To enter, check the righthand sidebar of PRIZEY each day you'd like to send an entry, where we'll post a "magic word" to be used in that day's entry, as well as occasional chances for extra entries. Send us an email to prizey.laptop (at) gmail (dot) com with the word, and you'll be entered for that day.
The last entries will be accepted on January 4, 2008, and PRIZEY will then select a winner at random from all valid entries. Assuming that by that date ZRecs has received the XO laptop and had two weeks preparing a review, the laptop will be shipped to the winner the second week of January.
The fine print: PRIZEY is only able to ship this item to U.S. addresses. Entries sent to our regular blog email address will not be accepted; all entries must be sent to prizey.laptop (at) gmail (dot) com. One entry per household per day, please. Void where prohibited, and no purchase is necessary to enter. The laptop will be tested by Z Recommends for approximately two weeks before being shipped to the winner; no specific delivery date is available at this time.
